A Short Weekly Review for Everyday Tasks

A weekly review is a chance to look at unfinished tasks before making a new list. Gather the reminders you have left in notebooks, messages, and loose pieces of paper. Put them in one place long enough to decide which still need attention.

Separate appointments from tasks that can happen at any convenient time. Choose a small number of priorities and describe the next step for each one. A specific action is easier to start than a broad reminder with no clear beginning.

Leave some space for unexpected work. At the next review, notice what moved forward and what remained untouched. Adjust the list to reflect the time you actually have, instead of repeatedly copying an unrealistic plan.
